K.C. Armstrong Concert
November 22, 6:00 PM

Sergeant First Class (ret), K.C. Armstrong, formerly of the U.S. Army Chorus, will perform a concert with gospel, patriotic, and show tunes on Saturday, November 22 at 6:00 PM in the Sanctuary. Dr. Jennifer Marshall will accompany on piano. At the age of 19, and having only minimal vocal training, KC successfully auditioned for The Lake Junaluska Singers, a professional Christian ensemble based in the mountains of North Carolina. KC worked there for three summers during his collegiate years performing a ton of music and meeting lots of new friends, including his wife, Chara. Through several different events, God opened the right door for KC to audition and join the military music career field. As a member of The United States Army Chorus and former member of The United States Air Force Singing Sergeants, KC has served under and performed for Presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, and Trump and for the funerals of Presidents Reagan, Ford, and Bush. The concert is free and open to the public.
