Christmas Angel Tree
SUMC is sponsoring an “Angel Tree” to benefit foster children in the South Carolina Youth Advocate Program (SCYAP). We collect Christmas gifts for the foster children and many times, the gifts we give are the only gifts they will receive for Christmas. Angel Tree gift tags are available on the Narthex Christmas tree and on the Family Life Center Christmas tree. Tags will include the child’s first name, age, gender, and wish list item or gift card request. Returned gifts should have the gift tag attached and my be placed under the Angel Christmas trees and gift cards may be placed in the marked boxes on the tables. All gifts/contributions need to be returned no later than Sunday, December 7. If you’d like to make a monetary donation to help purchase the bigger gift items, please make your check payable to SUMC and put Angel Tree in the memo. The monetary donations will be collected by SUMC and then one check will be sent to SCYAP. Please consider taking a gift tag or making a monetary donation so you can help foster children have a wonderful Christmas.
